SFX Entertainment To Go Public

Robert Sillerman’s EDM (electronic dance music) promoting company, SFX Entertainment Inc, has reportedly filed for an IPO at the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a value of up to $175 million. SFX intends to list its common stock at the NASDAQ under the symbol “SFXE” although it still has yet revealed how many shares it plans to sell and for what price. The company also told that USB Investment Bank, Barclays and Jeffries will be underwriting the IPO. Continue reading

Justin Bieber may have millions of fans but that didn’t prevent Miley Cyrus from breaking his VEVO record of most [number of] views in a 24-hour period. The 20-year-old singer’s music video for her latest single We Can’t Stop has received 10.7 million views, beating Bieber’s previous record of 10.6 million views for his video for Beauty and the Beat featuring Nicki Minaj.
