27-year-old Lady Gaga won’t just be performing at South by Southwest on March 14, 11am at the Austin Convention Center, but she’ll also deliver the keynote address. She’ll be joining the ranks of the event’s previous speakers such as Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, and Dave Grohl.

The address will follow Gaga’s performance at Stubb’s on its Doritos #BoldStage on March 13, for the benefit of the artist’s Born This Way foundation. Her scheduled performance at Stubb’s is a result of being previously denied a permit to perform at the Doritos stage’s original venue.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Gaga says, “The ARTPOP performance at SXSW will be a completely one-off set and experience. I’ve been dreaming of this moment. It’s all about the music and the connection with the crowd, and I want the audience in Austin to see me live in a way I never have before.”
“I love theatrics, but I started out singing at a piano with a Bud Light in a bikini. Performing at Stubb’s is a real blast from my past, I can’t wait to celebrate with the audience how far music can go when we believe and stick together. It’s moments like these that I live for,” she continues.
